For those of you who have not heard of vision therapy previously, WELCOME!

As Certified Optometric Vision Therapists (COVTs), we have encountered people with a variety of visual problems. Some people have difficulty keeping their place while reading and experience fatigue. Others may experience double vision or have issues judging how far away objects are from them; and some may have had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) which has caused all the above, plus many more problems. We've also worked with athletes who just want to get that extra edge on the competition.
The question often asked is, "Can my vision be improved?" The answer often times is, "Yes!"; however, this is where the expert advice of a developmental optometrist is crucial. The developmental optometrist will test all the components that contribute to vision in order to determine the appropriate treatment.
